Mute Monday - N is for the "Ninety-Nines"

The Ninety-Nines are a group of women pilots, formed in 1929 with Amelia Earheart as the founding President. Their international HQ are in Oklahoma City, and really, I must make it to the museum sometime. (You know I can't be mute, so I will make my font really really small.)

Awesome post - unique and fascinating! I have a terrible fear of flying but somehow suspect that would go away if only it were MOI at the controls :o). Happy Mute Monday!

I love this! Brave pioneer woman who fought hard to have the right to fly. But I'm with Moi - when I fly I want JETS, not those small planes that were flown by the early pilots.

Great theme and happy MM.
