Was stumbling through my photos today and, what I found was some historical evidence of Mr. MG's desire for front-yard access. Here he is at the storm door and not very happy that I called his name to make him turn around for a photo. The photo was dated in early November. I know I'm obsessed about him, and I promise not to be so bad next week.
John did put some cat food out last night. It was gone this morning. I don't think it was MG though -- probably Siamese Tom, who has taken over winter duties for Ginger Tom at the barn on the other side of the fence. Ginger Tom is seen mostly during the summer. It is winter now, so time for Siamese Tom to go on duty. We joke about how Siamese Tom and Ginger Tom clock in and out -- much like the sheep dog and wolf in that old TV cartoon. Ginger Tom and Siamese Tom are NEVER seen at the same time. One or the other, but never both.
No MG sightings since he has been *gone* ... but folks HAVE seen Siamese Tom heading down a storm drain!
Did lots of mope-ing around today and we finally went on a drive for a while. Poked around some show homes out in Mustang that have been on the market a while. They sure aren't lowering the prices though. Then early dinner at Cimarron Steak House -- yum yum, don't know why we don't go there more often. Then back home and watched "Fred Claus" on demand ... very cute movie and we enjoyed it a lot. Good to end the day on a lighter note.
Meanwhile, say prayers for My Boss, who ended up in the hospital this weekend. He has had a bad back and the flu and reactions to medications. If anyone would hate being in the hospital, I am sure it My Boss. He does NOT like to be non-productive. And I can't think of a less productive environment than a hospital!
Cheers for now. Prayers for bosses and cats.
