The happiest phrase ever …

Sine Die

legal definition.  Latin.  Without day. With no day being assigned for the next meeting or for resumption of meeting.

This word makes me very happy.  5PM Friday is the date/time for adjournment ***SINE DIE****.  And here in my part of the world (center of the universe), we say it “SIGH-NY DYE”.   I have heard that it is really pronounced “seh-nay-dee-ay”.  Who cares.   It means I get my life back!!!  WOOHOO!

yippie skippie! I get off work tomorrow at noon. I like when there isn't a manic Monday in the week. Glad tomorrow is the last day for a while for you.

xoxoxo.

Enjoy your time off, Pam

Well, it isn't that I get time off. Just that the craziness goes away for a while! I go from crazy busy to normal busy. It will be bliss!!!

it sounds like Sayonara, which is exactly what I'll be doing at 2:00 p.m. PST today. I love the Friday before a long weekend. It's been quiet.

Have a wonderful long weekend. You deserve it.

Okay so I just thought there was SINE DIE today. I'm wrong. See everyone on Tuesday. :(

Esse Quam Videri! Only Latin I know. I used to know how to say "all else being equal" but I forgot.

New Culinary Throwdown Challenge!

Hi Troll, thanks for stopping by. I might not be able to do any throwdowns until June. My job is robbing my sanity and physical stamina. One more thing I can't add to my list of stuff to do right now.... but I'll try a throwdown soon, I promise!
