This was my first attempt at this and you can see that it was very VERY rough around the edges. I must try this again. Anyway, Sister Carole loved this photo of her and her three boys, and her first grandbaby. However, the one girl was now an ex-wife of middle son there. So, we scanned and saved the original picture, because it is the original and deserving of the respect of the time in which it was taken. HOWEVER, we then divided the photo into two halfs, cut out the now ex-wife, moved two sides to the middle and voile’ …. Carole and her three boys.
Sadly, boy #1 on the left was killed in an auto accident some years ago now. But gladly, that baby girl in his arms turned into the beautiful young junior bridesmaid from a certain wedding last October. Middle son has now done three tours of duty in Iraq. And youngest son was over helping his mom on her FIRST DAY HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL IN THREE MONTHS.
Yep! You heard me right. Sister Carole is home. She will still have to visit the outpatient clinic for some wound care over the next few weeks. But the girl was home, walking around, up and down out of a chair (albeit gingerly) …
Can’t thank everyone enough for the good wishes and prayers for helping get Sister Carole well and back home. We did a short cruise through ICU on the way out the door today and everyone was calling her the miracle case. ‘Tis true.
Welcome home Carole!
