Mouse Killer

Sally made her first kill last night. That we know about, anyway. We have taken to putting her into the garage at night, which is far enough away from the bedroom that we can't hear her meowing or knocking at the door to come in. Which is what she does at the back door when the bars close at 2AM and she comes in from catting around.

Well, this morning, John opened the door to the garage and found a nice present! A pretty good sized mouse lay dead right in his path. Go Sally! That's my girl!

We hadn't been seeing any signs of mice in the house but there are lots of open fields here so not surprised.

She is very proud of herself. A proper cat, our Sally.

Were you clearly grateful?

go Kitty! go Kitty!

Our old cat would bring home huge rats and I was clearly grateful each time I screamed for Mr. Boxer to get rid of the body.

Boxie: Yes, it is a good thing I didn't stumble on the mouse before Mr. Pammo
