All-American Rejects, Color Me Badd, David Cook, Elvin Bishop, Hanson, JJ Cale, Red Dirt Rangers, Stoney LaRue, Wanda Jackson, Leon Russell, Flaming Lips, Hinder (in no particular order)
Can't say that I've heard of most of these groups, but they look interesting. And I'd be hard pressed to list anyone from my home town. I could say Springsteen and Bonjovi, but they're more North Jersey than South.Happy MM!
This is awesome. Wayne Coyne is the coolest man. Happy MM.
I'm tragically unhip. I've only heard of three of them and two-of-the-three must be over 60 years old! Great pics and idea though.Happy Mute Monday!
I love local music and I've even heard of several of these bands... especially David Cook. *sigh*Happy Mute Monday!
Love the Flaming Lips. LOL to Troll. (The Tragically Hip are, alas, from Canada.) Happy Mute Monday!
Pam... Looks like you are on the listen locally share globally plan! Smart way to personalize the MM assignment.Very clever. Have a great Monday.
Ho! Well, see--OK has rockers too! In a post a few back on the Porch, I mentioned how Steven Stills (Crosby Stills and NAsh, The Buffablo Springfields) and Donny Felder (The Eagles--"Hotel California") went to our high scholl in Hog Town Creek--or Gainesville Fla.I love yore state loyalty, Pamokc!!Happy MM!
Awesome. ;-) Happy Mute Monday!
Color Me Badd...such memories had one of their mothers for a teacher. We (mostly the girls) in the class just couldn't get enough of them and chased CMB to the airport when they were literally NO BODIES. What nerds we were and to think I ditched the New Kids on the Block for them. Seriously what was I thinking.xoxoxoxJ
