Where does the time go?  It was the day before yesterday (okay, THIRTY years ago) that I brought this little bundle of joy named Kymmie home from South Community Hospital.   Hers got dimples in those cheeks!  And you can see them in this one-day old hospital portrait!
Big brown eyes and big personality, from the get-go.  Pa-pa was snapping pics of the going-home-from hospital event.  She rode home with Gimma and Pa-Pa.  And I was thinking I could wear my regular jeans home.  I did and lived to regret that decision.  Ouch!
I have no idea whose sofa this was.  It was a neighbor at the time.  How do you like that 1970's plaid?  They try, but they can't recreate those exact colors and weave for the current retro looks.  But a big yawn from the babygirl.  Which one of us looks more exhausted?
Look at those big brown eyes!  First day home from hospital and already focusing and aware of what was going on around her.  Speaking of retro, this was our sofa.  Much classier than the one above, don't you think?
Everyone go wish my Babygirl a happy 30th birthday.  I think she is dealing with it just fine.  I think.  And I think we will go celebrate with a casino night somewhere!

Happy Mother's Day! I know it is odd but I think of Mermaid's birthday as Mothers day ... the start of the journey as the mom! Beautiful mom,
BEAUTIFUL baby, really ugly plaid sofa!
