Snow pics

We've been riding on bumpy, icy, snowy roads for a week now ... Christmas eve blizzard was a doozy. A bit more snow last night but hopefully it will all melt with some bright sunshine soon. These drifts below don't look bad, but they are as tall as my car. A man was found buried in his car under a drift a few days after the storm. This road below was completely unpassable for about 3 days. We don't deal with snow and ice here very well. One thing about our weather in Oklahoma, when it is severe, it is SEVERE.  And the homeless people walk in the middle of the road instead of the sidewalks.  That has been strange.

We had a cold/icy Christmas last year and it was rough on those of here in the PNW that aren't used to it. But, I have to say, as annoying as it is..... snow makes pretty pictures.

Happy New Year! xoxox.

It dumped a whole foot on us last night. We got drifts like that, too, thanks to the winds. I think it's going to just be one of "those" winters. But I hope you all enjoy a fun New Year's Eve regardless and all the best in 2010!

Yes I heard about that poor man, how sad for his family. I know when we had that crazy 26 inches in March it was still here 3 weeks later!
