Billy Idol and Barry White, you don't see them together to often. I was a big Idol fan back in the 80s although I never got to see him in concert. And I must confess, I use to watch Ally McBeal just because of the one lawyer's (John Cage) obssesion with Barry White. And because of Lucy Lui and Portia de Rossi (pre-lesbian), but I digress. Happy MM!
Pam,I can't help but notice how often your posts send our male bloggers on a fond memory trip! Good job, as always, did you listen to this music while doing the post? Have a great Monday.
Buzzy: Billy Idol's White Wedding is probably my FAVE song from the 80's. Wasn't an Ally McBeal fan and didn't know the other bit. Interesting. I thought you guys didn't mind about the lesbian thing, was I wrong?Fishy: No, I wasn't listening but probably should have been! I don't know why but WHite Room by Cream was first one to pop in my head. Just a child of the airwaves, I guess. Happy MM!
Oh mom, there are sooo many more you should add in here!here's a start:White as Snow.White Lightening.White Riot.Knights in White Satin.Happy MM. xoox.

Way cool old-school album covers and stuff. Great choice. Except for the White Stripes who made me throw up a little bit.happy mute monday!
Fabulous! I have a little thing for Billy Idol ever since he was in THE WEDDING SINGER. Great picks and great Mute.
Kymmie: I should have thought of Nights in White Satin. Just for a photo of Justin Hayward. I may have to go update my post.K9: I did not know that! Interesting trivia. And it IS a nice day to start again.Trolly: I love the old album art; that's why there's a selection on each song. How do you choose?Boxie: Yep, something about Billy. Especially in that video for White WEdding. But I never saw the wedding singer.
I thought the same way about my typealyzer. Fairly true. Could you capture the graph?P.S. If you avoided "The Wedding Singer" because of Adam Sandler, it's not his typical immature-antics schtick.
LOL, Buzz and I have so much in common! My (ex)Husband and I used to listen to his records all the time in the 80s, particularly White Wedding. And Ive always loved Big Bazza. Again, the best parts of Ally McBeal... :)That Cream album is also the business! Great Take!
