None shall pass!
It’s only a flesh wound!
monty python rocks! happy WMC!
ha! "its only a flesh wound" is a much stated line in my world. GREAT choice. i see MP rules this round of MCW.
More gut bustingly funny stuff! There was no way I could have chosen just one. Happy MCW!
"Have at you!"*sigh*Monty Python IS the best!It was sooooo hard not to use anything from "The Holy Grail" or "Life of Brian", but I think "The Meaning of Life" is just underrated.Excellent choice, and yes, MP is the ruler of the day!
Good morning Pam,I came very close to using this clip. So very funny.Happy Clip Day!
All: I almost (ALMOST) used the Mr. Creosote episode. Where the fat guy goes to the fancy restaurant; pukes after every course so he can eat some more; and then John Cleese offers him "just one more wafer-thin mint" ... and he explodes.
Nice work Pam. I was close on this one myself. BTW, congrats on your big Haiku win last week. Thought it was the class of the field.
"It's nothing but a flesh wound" is a quote used a lot in my life as well as just about every line from this movie. I watched Buzz's clip and yours because it's just that funny. What a timeless movie. Silly and smart. Happy MCW!
don't know how I missed that.LOVE Monty Python Group.
OK, so I finally got over here to see MY CLIP. Bwahahaha It's amazing that a relatively large group of people have the same taste (or lack there of) in comedy. And British comedy at that. I almost included Shaun of the Dead in my entry this week (the scene where he walks to the store and doesn't see any of the zombies). More British humour (see what I did there with humor - god I'm funny). Maybe next week you and I should confer on Tuesday night.Happy MCW!
merely a flesh wound. Neeet. It was either this or How Not to Be Seen.Happy MCW mommacita.
Heeehee! "All right then, we'll call it a draw." LOL My dad took me to a special showing of this one summer many years ago because I'd never seen it, only heard quotes of it for ages. Great memories!
