Witnessed a little history today ...

So, there I was.  Sitting at the back of the stage as Mary Fallin was sworn in as the first woman to serve as Oklahoma's Governor.  That's her in the blue scarf at the top of the stairs, if you can pick her out.
And a super-cool moment?  Toby Keith.  Singing "American Soldier".  Here he is as he heads up to take his spotlight.

Where's my good camera today?  At home, forgotten on the counter.  Love my I-Touch camera though!

We watched here at school, it looked like it was very cold standing there! So does the other half get to go to the Inauguration Ball tonight??

Well, funny you should mention it. Tickets to the ball have been offered to us. Have never been, so am hoping we can pull it off. 1:30 PM, no dress, no tux, no formal-ware..... ack! what to do ! what to do!
