i'd love to greet him, and politely give him a piece of my mind. actually, i'd be interested to sit down w/ him w/o any cameras or handlers or anything like that & ask him what he REALLY thinks about a few things.
Carmy, yep, me too. No matter what, you have to respect that he is in the position. Totally agree.
He'll never show his face in Troll County. We do get the occasional ALGORE visit though.
Good evening Pam,I think it's probably too late, but you can keep him if you want him. He's not doing any good here.
Trolly, I'd love to see an Al-Gore/JimInhofe throwdown. Maybe we can get that arranged.Karl: Yep, I think it is too late. I questioned the intelligence of coming to speak in the little town that lost out on that pipeline -- sure the one going south is still on, but Obama nixed the one coming from Canada. Doesn't that mean jobs in Oklahoma? Ahem ... I'm glad he got out of there safely.Meanwhile, here's my funny story of the day. I had to e-mail someone to try and get some information to place an order on a project that I've been helping him with. He called later and said, "Sorry I couldn't get to you sooner, but your e-mail came in as I was standing about 15 feet from the PRESIDENT." Hmmm, I guess that has to take priority, doesn't it!
I think he's due here today. Or was that Wednesday? I can't remember. All I know is, when a political fat cat blows into town, it plays havoc with traffic. Unfortunately, we're a state that will kiss his butt in whatever way possible.
